Big Moment...
We are in Australia...still...and our shipment has arrived from Dubai after 2 and a half months...Big day tommorrow...We are leaving our temporary flat to live in a nice quiet house outside of town for a while, surrounded by parks...Another move...with a cold and a fever! Sniff...sniff...Aaatchoummm!!
I want my mommy...Can anyone make me a warm soup??? Do they send it via air?
The soup made in the supermarket tastes like burning plastic. Putting the jokes aside, we are very excited about settling in, finally surrounded by our familiar stuff ( I don't want to sound materialistic, but it helps and it makes u feel at home.) Skye is excited about the place and her new room. Need to sleep now, tata for now. Movers will be at the house at 8:00 a.m.

Good luck with it all. We'll be moving back from Dubai to Oz in about six weeks too. Friends tell me yesterday the temperature only reached 12C in our home town...moving to that from the 45C here is going to be a shock!
Good luck! And yes it is quite cold. The problem is that the houses are not equipped for this cold so you have no insulation or radiators or even heaters in most houses...such as ours. We are moving tomorrow to this house but we are going to find ourselves a heater first...Hopefully.
We put reverse cycle air-conditioning into our place. We hardly ever use the cooling but we get a lot of use out of the warming!
Yes, I know what you mean, but this rental house is not equipped. I am sure in the next house we hope buying, one day,will have reverse cycle a/c. Anyways, Michael got us 3 small electric heaters for the bedrooms and living area.
