Latest News:

Last Friday, Israel decided to bomb every bridge around our house! I called up my mother, she says :"Oh, I'm shopping for food with my friend and Carolyn (my sister) is at work".

People keep reminding me how resilient Lebanese are. It never seizes to amaze me, especially my own family who is still working and going to the beach.
Phone lines are back in business, I can reach them now.

The U.A.E. is really a great country for organising all these help and support groups. They even reduced the cost of the calls by 50% to Lebanon.

I stopped watching the news, for now I believe I would rather be ignorant and stupid than miserable and frustrated, for a while that is!

So just to all my family and friends, be brave, I love you so much and hopefully this nightmare will be over soon.

I guess that in the end you do have to carry on with normal life as much as you can, but that's a pretty awesome attitude to have.

It doesn't pay to watch the news - a lot of it is sensationalised anyway. I don't know why they feel the need to do this, as the truth is bad enough.
