Eid Camping in The Desert:

This year, we decided to stay away from the beach and the crowded areas: fantastic, no quadbikes, no loud speakers. Silence was deafenening as Michael put it.

We drove off-road for less than an hour to find a good bowl between the dunes which was quite sheltered.

Yep, this was our wood which we managed to burn throughout the night.

We had the biggest engineered fire I have ever seen, the guys had fun shaping it between pyramid, square and triangle.
We even had roasted chestnuts and marshmallows, hmm, yummy.

Zzzzzzz...Sleeping Eskimo style. You would think we've landed in the North Pole.

I just love sleeping under the stars and believe me they were quite bright. It is so great to run away from the city and enjoy nature. I wanted to share this magical sunrise with you.

Thanks for sharing. NZM is right, the sunrise in the jeep windows is amazing and you look healthy and happy ;)

I used to go wadi hiking a lot with the ex, so you again bring back nice memories! If Michael enjoy deafening silence, try Wadi Bih sometime, it's out of this world. Cheers.
