Camping Trip on Eid:

Eid is the party at the end of Ramadan (one month fasting). Camping seemed to be the way to go... the beach was packed...

Land of camels and skyscrapers!
Dubai is quite an unusual site. It is such a cosmopolitan place. Cultures meet and live in harmony, well not always.
This is where we live, on Sheikh Zayed highway at the Trade Center apartments, those 3 little blocks. Next to it you can see the Emirates towers. And this is how it looked like in 1989!

This is how the beach looks like! A ballet of colourful kites.



Another day on the beach! After a few drinks the night before, Michael can look pretty bad the next morning!



Guess what! They are building an underwater hotel called The Hydropolis!



Not only that but there will be a ski resort! It will open next month and we can go snowboarding anytime of the year! Haha



This is what we sail around, a man-made island called The Palm.
