Cycling in Dubai:

I cycle to work everyday, people think I am a lunatic on wheels. Dubai is definetly a place for 4x4 and hummers crashing into each other. It is a mad house out there. Even though, I got hit by a big speedy van last year, it did not break my spirit. And yes mum, I am careful. At least I close my mouth when I ride!

Sailing on the Week end:

Finally, our catamaran has been repaired after 6 long months of waiting. The hulls just needed another layer of fiber glass, they were dangerously thin. And off we go!





We usually sail around the palm island, the famous man-made island, quite dusty and sandy. They actually managed to wipe out the sea and replace it with sand.

Latest News:

Hello everyone, it has been quite a while I know. Just blame it on the weather. Ouf! I believe it was 45 degrees celsius today. Not much is happening except that the wind has died. So we stand on the beach every weekend restless like two tigers trapped in a cage waiting for it to appear!
Work is good, can never complain there. Guess what is happening in September?! In order to catch up with the rest of the business world, the United Arab Emirates has decided to declare friday and saturday to be the official week end starting September. And yes we get to spend two days off together, waou! It is like our own little vacation at the end of every week!
