Farewell My Sweet Teta...

Not a very nice day today. My Teta (grandma) just died. At least she is not in pain anymore.
I will never forget how great you were, raising five kids on your own during a war.
I will never forget how you used to make me very tiny sandwiches, smaller than a finger.
I will never forget how you used to help me with my arabic lessons which was my least favourite subject.
I will never forget how you used to trick me to have a nap in the afternoon.
I will never forget the bedtime stories you used to come up with.

I will never forget the "fit for a king" meals you used to cook for us.
I will never forget you, you will always be in my heart.

Rest in Peace habibti Teta.

Almost 2 Months!

Things are improving and there is a lot of progress. And let me tell you about Time: not only it flies but like Michael said: “We have a human clock in our hands to measure time with”. So yes actually, time is slipping through our fingers like sand and we better make the most of it and Skye will be a baby only once. (Thank God!...hi hi hi). No She is a darling little angel.
Last week: She started to baby talk.
This week: She started to smile.
Last night: She slept the whole night!!! (From 10:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m).
Today, I managed to wear my old shorts! I still don’t dare to put on my tight jeans but the day will come.

Skye and I spend the day between naps and breastfeeding until daddy comes home and then it is playtime in the bath while mummy is in the gym losing her pregnancy weight.
On the weekends, we go out to malls and visit friends. I will keep you posted.
Want to hear something funny? After the birth by 10 days, we noticed that her shoulder was swollen and we thought it was a nasty mosquito bite. The doctor laughed at us saying it is her vaccination given at birth.

Oh, look at her smile...Now you see it, now you don't.
